A Few Festive Drinks to Try This December.
If you've been around for a while, or know me in person, you know I love to whip up a cheeky cocktail at home. It started when I was a student and wanted to enjoy a cocktail or two with my friends, but being university students we obviously didn't have the money to buy them out at a bar. The perfect money saver was to have a few cocktails at home, and buy something cheaper out, like a beer on tap. And after having cocktails at my friend's place, I got intrigued and bought my own little shaker, together with a few bottles of liqueurs and spirits to get my own bar cart started.
And, with the festive season being upon us - I thought, why not create a post to gather my best winter drinks in one post? Said and done, enjoy!

Mint Chocolate & Hazelnut Cocktail
This, my dear friends, is a treat. It's a creamy drink with chocolate, hazelnut and mint - making it the perfect after dinner drink. Read my full blogpost with recipe here.

White Chocolate, Espresso & Orange Cocktail
This is a creamy white chocolate cocktail with a taste of orange & espresso. I wanted to make something creamy and comforting, that would work perfectly infront of the fire or after dinner - so I opted for a dessert & cocktail hybrid. Read my full blogpost with recipe here.

Espresso Martini
A classic for a good reason. This obviously works just as well on a warm summer evening, but I do find coffee based drinks really wintery, and somewhat warming, despite this one being served perfeclty ice cold. Read my full blogpost & recipe here.

Minty Candy Cane Hot Chocolate
Saving the best for last! If you prefer something hot instead of cold, and alcohol free, look no further. This is the ultimate hot chocolate to treat your family & friends in the days leading up to Christmas. Read my full blogpost & recipe here.
