The Gothenburg Guide, Where to Eat

Probably the Best Breakfast Place in Gothenburg.

the Best Breakfast Place in Gothenburg Brogyllen Bästa frukosten i Göteborg Vårfrukost

One day last week, my two lovely colleagues (@josefinlarsen & Amelia) and I decided it was a great idea to meet up before work, and have breakfast together. Said and done - at 07.30 on Thursday morning we met up at Brogyllen café on Västra Hamngatan 2. It was only a few minutes after they had opened, but the line stretched all the way through the café out the front door, which surprised us slightly. However, a few minutes later, when we got a glimpse of our food - we understood the long line completely. Why was there a long line at a café on a Thursday morning? Well, because the food was positively divine!

For a very modest price of 95 SEK we got an avocado sandwich, a smoothie bowl, scrambled eggs (or hard boiled, whatever you prefer), a green juice (that did not taste "green" whatsoever) and coffee. The weather was amazing and we sat outside and enjoyed the sunny morning. As I told the girls, I felt like I was in Paris. No, I have never set foot in Paris, but - that's how I invision a Parisian morning to feel & smell like. Warm asphalt, fresh bread and coffee.

If you want to treat yourself to a great morning & some even better food, I suggest you swing by Brogyllen on a weekday and try their "Spring breakfast" that they currently serve. They're open from 07.30 on weekdays!

      Summer Beauty Essentials.

      14 May 2018
      Weleda parfume

When spring came around, so did the longer days and warmer rays. And one day, we all woke up to summer - and it was like life turned around for the better. I feel like a new person every year, when the darkness of winter finally starts to feel like a distant memory. So, in celebration of summer being here (at least for now), I'll be sharing some of my must-have beauty items for the season. These products are also perfect for my upcoming travels and are true summer mus-haves for me!

      GG0029S C/O Gerd deodorant

      DEODORANT FROM C/O GERD.
The first organic deodorant that truly works for me. It's been tried and tested on a few sweaty occasions, hehe, and I'm pleased to say it's never failed me. If you, like me, are allergic or sensitive to aluminium - I cannot recommend this enough. Another option, (that sadly isn't as great - but still good) that is more budget friendly is this.

      Weleda perfume parfym

      PERFUME FROM WELEDA.
Continuing with another all natural product, we'll move on to this amazing perfume from Weleda, that smells like a warm & cozy Italian evening. Inviting and clean with a fresh dose of grapefruit and lemon. Yum!

      Aco sun soft lips SPF

      SUNPROTECTING LIP BALM FROM ACO.
Last, but not least, is this little budget find. I stood at the check out line in my local pharmacy, with my arms full of pollen medication *allergy life*, and spotted this. Little did I know back then that the product was actually tinted - but I don't mind! It makes it a great multi use product, perfect for travelling. This little pink lipgloss will make my lips fresh and glossy and at the same time protect them with SPF 25 this summer. Highly recommend!
